The cover is used when a continuous power supply is required for automation components installed on the door. It is mounted on the door hinge. Standard wiring can be routed through the interior.
It is completely hidden when the door is in the closed position. The cover protects the cable from damage while the door is in use. It allows for unlocking electric locks as well as locks (both normally open and normally closed) installed on the door.
